David Waine
Managing director
David Waine joined us as Managing Director in January 2024, bringing over 30 years of experience in the steel and engineering industries. Passionate about driving growth and innovation, David plays a key role in shaping the company’s vision and strategy. Beyond his leadership at the company, he is actively involved in the Construction Equipment Association, a member of the local Chamber of Commerce, and serves as a Department for International Trade Export Champion, offering guidance to SMEs looking to expand internationally.
Nick Kelly
OPERATIONS DIRECTOR
Nick joined us in 2012 and has become a cornerstone of our operations. With extensive experience in supply chain development and management, and qualifications including MCIPS, a BA in Marketing, and IOSH Managing Safely, he brings a wealth of knowledge to the team. Having worked in the automotive and aerospace sectors, Nick is highly skilled in lean manufacturing, inventory management, and process improvement. He leads a large team with dedication and care, ensuring smooth operations while prioritizing the health and safety of everyone on site. His invaluable leadership, commitment, and expertise continue to drive efficiency, growth, and a positive workplace culture.
Kim Finley
accounts & hr manager
Kim joined the company in 2003 and brings over 20 years of experience across finance and HR. She manages the day-to-day financial operations with precision, ensuring compliance and accuracy, while also serving as the go-to contact for all HR matters. Passionate about employee wellbeing, Kim is dedicated to supporting, motivating, and caring for our team, making her an invaluable part of the business.
Andrew Liddle
TECHNICAL SALES MANAGER
Andrew joined us in 2022 as a Quality Engineer and is our in-house expert on ISO 9001 quality management systems. With a BSc in Mechanical Manufacturing Engineering and accreditations including City & Guilds Legionella and IOSH Managing Safely, he brings experience from the oil and gas sector in quality, process improvement, and project management. Recently, Andrew has taken on the role of Technical Sales Manager, combining his technical expertise with outstanding customer support.
Kelly Homan
Senior Support Services Executive
Kelly joined us in 1997 and plays a key role in customer support, ensuring enquiries are handled promptly and efficiently to enhance the overall customer experience. She is also our resident expert in export procedures and documentation, overseeing the smooth and efficient movement of our materials and products around the globe. Kelly manages our network of logistics suppliers and partners, skillfully finding the right solutions for a wide range of transport challenges.
Andrew Huntrod
Production / Quality Engineer
Andrew joined us in 2015 as a Mechanical Engineer Apprentice, gaining valuable experience across our manufacturing processes before advancing to Production and Quality Engineer. His commitment and talent were recognized when he was named Apprentice of the Year by his further education college. Andrew holds an HNC in Mechanical Engineering, IOSH Managing Safely, Level 3 Improvement Technician, and is a qualified internal auditor. A key member of the Engineering team, his broad expertise across the business makes him the go-to person for guidance and support.
Katie Lewins
Accounts and Admin Assistant
Katie began her journey with us in 2012 as a Business Administration Apprentice. Since then, she has developed extensive expertise across all areas of administration, with a particular specialism in our Heat Treatment Department, where her knowledge and support are second to none. Always approachable and eager to assist, Katie is well-known for her dedication to both colleagues and customers. More recently, she has broadened her skills by moving into the finance side of the business and is currently working towards her AAT qualification.

Production Supervisor
Bryan joined us in 1998 as a Machine Operative and brings over 25 years of hands-on experience with our products. His in-depth knowledge and expertise in the production of GET make him the go-to person for ensuring quality and efficiency. Dedicated and reliable, Bryan plays a key role in making sure every order leaves our doors on time.
Neil Parkin
Heat Treatment Supervisor
Neil joined us in 2010 as a Heat Treatment Operative and, over the years, has developed extensive expertise in every aspect of the department. Today, he oversees all operations within Heat Treatment, managing daily tasks with precision and ensuring everything runs smoothly. Neil’s experience, dedication, and leadership make him a key part of our team.
